Australian Journal of Adult Learning

About Australian Journal of Adult Learning

The AJAL is an official publication of ALA and is published three times each year. It is concerned with promoting critical thinking and research in the field of adult learning as well as the theory, research and practice of adult and community education. Each issue carries articles that have been reviewed by the Editorial team but are not double, blind-peer refereed. These articles are generally of a more practical and applied nature, and/or from authors who do not want or need to go through the full refereeing process.

An Analysis of 10 years of the Australian Journal of Adult Learning (AJAL)

AJAL has been published for nearly fifty years and covers a wide range of topics, all of interest to those in the adult education sector.

Recently, Roger Harris and Miriam McLean compiled this analysis of all articles - either vocational education and training, adult education and training or higher education - covered in the last ten years.

We are grateful for their work.
