Broadband for Seniors Launch On Statenborough Retirement Village, December 2009

Leabrook, Adelaide

A terrific launch of the Broadband for Seniors Kiosk was held at the On Statenborough Retirement Village in December 2009. A large group of people, both experienced computer users and those interested in starting, gathered at the Village to celebrate the opening.

Ross Pardey, aged 86, organised the kiosk for the Village. Ross loves to share his enthusiasm for computing and has started a very successful computer club at the Village. All residents are welcome to improve their internet skills.

If you think your community organisation could host a kiosk and help seniors with their internet skills please go to www.necseniors.net.au or ring 1300 795 897 for more information.
