Indigenous Education Action Plan 2010 - 2014

ALA was recently invited to make a submission to the draft of this important plan. While the plan predominantly focuses on the education of Indigenous children, ALA’s belief is that the education of children cannot happen in isolation from their families and communities. Our submission, therefore argues for a whole of life and whole of community approach. Our full submission is available here [PDF, 35KB]

ALA is currently representing the Adult and Community Education sector on the Green Skills Implementation Group. Between February and May of this year, ALA has been and will be taking part in the GSI Group, alongside representatives from the TAFE, University and Business sectors. The Green Skills Implementation Plan is due for completion in May 2010.
